About National Species List of Korea

The National Species List of Korea is updated annually by the National Institute of Biological Resources of the Ministry of Environment, in accordance with the Act on the Conservation and Use of Biological Diversity. The List is used to identify species living in and native to Korea and can inform research on biological resources and policy-making.
