Article 2 of the Conservation And Management Of Marine Ecosystems Act

Definition

The term "organisms disturbing marine ecosystems" means organisms falling under any of the following items, which are determined by Ordinance of the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries:

1. Marine organisms flowing in from abroad artificially or naturally, which cause or are likely to cause disturbance to the balance of marine ecosystems;
2. Marine organisms which cause or are likely to cause disturbance to the balance of marine ecosystems, from among genetically modified organisms produced through genetic modification;
